Having flown barefoot in the Maldives I was afforded a very unique opportunity that I will treasure forever. Not only from a pilots perspective but also from the point of view of a photographer.Though I am no longer working in the Maldives the images I have captured will serve to remind me of its unique and fragile beauty!
I have also so started a new Blog which highlights my current adventures as a photographer and pilot in Africa. It can be found at Robert McIntyre Photography
I have enjoyed my time in the Maldives and I feel very lucky to have such an opportunity to work there not only as a pilot but as a photographer as well!
Maldivian Air Taxi has published Inflight Magazine Issue #19 with an artcle featuring yours truly! Please have a look at it and some the other articles printed in it. A good read about an amazing country and the best way to fly, Barefoot of course!
I just saw this quote from Mark Twain via the amazing photographer Timothy Allen .
”Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.” – Mark Twain
